The Destrehan Plantation is a Louisiana Legacy. Established in 1778 it remains the oldest documented plantation home in the lower Mississippi Valley. Just minutes from downtown New Orleans, Destrehan is listed on The National Register of Historic Places.
First owned by noble French families then sold for industrial use and eventually in ruins, Destrehan Plantation has been fully restored to its immaculate glory. It remains a tribute to the richness of Louisiana history and the dedication of a community to which it has been a cornerstone for over 200 years.
We take daily tours to the Destrehan Plantation on board a climate controlled passenger van. We will pick you up at your hotel and bring you back. So come on along for the adventure, you’ll be glad you did.
