After a short break you will begin the Katrina portion of the tour. You’ll see Lake Pontchartrain and the 17th Street Canal where the first levee breach occurred. You’ll also see one of the most devastated neighborhoods and learn about the recovery and rebirth efforts led by the resilient people of New Orleans.
Next stop is the Garden District. Once known as the American Quarter the Garden District is a majestic neighborhood filled with magnificent homes, outstanding landscaping and an undeniably rich history. This is a must do tour.
The tour wraps up with a drive through the warehouse and arts district where you’ll see Gallier Hall and Lafayette Square.
